Head north to the vibrant town of Otavalo, where the famed Indigenous market bursts with color and craftsmanshipâtextiles, leatherwork, jewelry, and more. Visit nearby artisan villages such as Peguche (weaving) and San Antonio de Ibarra (woodcarving).

Papallacta Hot Springs & Cloud Forest Walks
Return southward via the cloud forests of the eastern Andes. Enjoy a soak in the Papallacta Hot Springs, surrounded by highland landscapes and bird-rich forests. Optional nature walks offer a chance to spot hummingbirds and orchids.

Travel the legendary Avenue of the Volcanoes into Cotopaxi National Park.
Take in views of the snow-capped Cotopaxi Volcano and explore trails through pĂĄramo landscapes. Spot wild horses and Andean condors.

Venture through the Quilotoa Loop, a dramatic route through remote Andean villages and farmlands. Hike to a viewpoint above the stunning turquoise Quilotoa Crater Lake, or descend to the waterâs edge.

Baños â Adventure & Waterfalls
Continue south to Baños, Ecuadorâs adventure capital. Choose from canyoning, whitewater rafting, or zip liningâor enjoy a scenic drive along the âAvenue of the Waterfallsâ. In the evening, explore town or soak in thermal baths.

Ingapirca Ruins & Andean Journey South
Head deeper into the southern highlands to visit Ingapirca, the most significant Inca archaeological site in Ecuador. Learn about its unique blend of Inca and Cañari cultures. Optional hiking around the site.

Return or Optional Extensions
Transfer to Cuenca for a city tour or fly back to Quito. Alternatively, extend your adventure with a flight to the GalĂĄpagos Islands or continue south to Peru & Machu Picchu.
